IPL 2025, the action-packed T20 league, is here again to thrill cricket lovers around the globe with high-octane performances. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a Men's 20-over cricket league held annually in India. The T20 league was announced by the BCCI in 2007 and is currently contested by ten city-based franchise teams. IPL is the most popular cricket league in the world with millions of viewers around the globe; in 2014, it was ranked sixth by average attendance among all sports leagues. There are 10 teams participating in the IPL 2024 tournament. These teams are Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow SuperGiants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Over the years, 13 teams have played in the past ten seasons of the IPL, of which, five are no longer part of the tournament. Out of these teams, Mumbai Indians and CSK have won the maximum number of titles at 5. They are followed by Kolkata Knight Riders, who have won the league twice.

The IPL 2024 format involves a competitive table of these ten teams, ensuring an enthralling league stage. With an expanded format, teams play 14 matches within their league stage. The two sides at the top of the table qualify for the first Qualifier, while the other two sides lock horns in the Eliminator, with the winner of the Eliminator playing against the loser of the first Qualifier in an audacious attempt to make the final of IPL 2024.
