And that's a wrap for the 2nd T20I! Nepal has made history, sealing the series with a game to spare. The third and final match is scheduled for September 30, 2025, at 2:30 pm GMT. Tune in an hour early for match buildup and updates. Until next time, cheers!

Nepal's captain, Rohit Paudel, expressed his team's elation after winning the series against West Indies. 'We are very happy,' he said, emphasizing that this victory was a long time coming, especially against a Test-playing nation. Paudel praised Sundeep Jora and Aasif Sheikh's impressive performances, noting that Jora's aggressive batting style complemented Sheikh's gameplay well. He also commended the team's bowlers for their strong start in the powerplay and highlighted Nepal's pride in their fielding, a skill they've honed over the last decade. Paudel attributed the win to the team's collective effort, stating, 'The credit goes to the boys.'

West Indies captain Akeal Hosein reflected on the team's performance against Nepal, acknowledging the hosts' unity and experience as significant factors in their success. He emphasized that despite the West Indies' reputation, the real challenge begins once the game starts, and it's not about past statistics or team names but about adapting to conditions and performing on the field. Hosein praised Nepal's bowlers for exploiting the pitch conditions effectively and noted that the West Indies' slow start in the powerplay put them at a disadvantage. He stressed the importance of being prepared for the challenges of international cricket, urging his team to reflect on their abilities and work ethic, questioning whether they're truly international material and if they're putting in the work to succeed at this level.

Aasif Sheikh is the Player of the Match for his excellent knock. He says that he felt like the wicket was around 160-170. Adds that the plan was to go slow and take on later. Credits Sundeep Jora, who kept the momentum and found sixes at will. Shares that they want to finish on a high note and make 3-0. Ends by adding that cricket is a festival in Nepal and thanks the supporters who always back them.

Stay tuned for the presentation...

Earlier, Nepal posted 173/6 in their 20-over quota, thanks to a brilliant batting display in the second half of their innings. After a shaky start where they lost Kushal Bhurtel, Rohit Paudel, and Kushal Malla cheaply, standing at 43/3, Aasif Sheikh and Sundeep Jora steadied the ship. Sheikh scored an unbeaten 68 off 47 balls, while Jora smashed 63 off 39 deliveries. Mohammad Aadil Alam added 11 off 5 balls, helping Nepal reach a competitive total. For the West Indies, Akeal Hosein took 2/21, Kyle Mayers claimed 2/26, and Jediah Blades got 1/27.

Nepal's fielding was phenomenal, making 173 look like a much more challenging total. Their bowlers were unplayable, with Aadil Ansari claiming 4 wickets and Kushal Bhurtel taking 3. Lalit Rajbanshi, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Karan KC each took a wicket, showcasing Nepal's impressive team effort. The ground fielding was also outstanding, with some brilliant takes that further restricted the West Indies' scoring opportunities.

The West Indies' innings was a struggle from the start, and they ultimately fell short by 90 runs. The batting display from players like Kyle Mayers and Jewel Andrew was disappointing, as they played below their usual standard. The team managed just 41 runs in the first 10 overs while losing 4 wickets, effectively ending the contest. Jason Holder tried to spark a comeback, top-scoring with 21 runs, but even he couldn't do much. A poor batting display once again from WI played a key part in their downfall.

Nepal has made a statement on the international stage with this series win against the West Indies! By winning the second game, they've taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, cementing their historic triumph. It was a no-contest in this game as Nepal have won this by 90 runs.

17.1OUT! NEPAL, TAKE A BOW! First time ever in the history of Nepal, they have won a series against a full-member nation. Tossed up on off, Zishan Motara lobs this over Karan KC at long off and he makes no mistake, takes this one and the crowd erupts with this completed catch. Nepal have defeated West Indies by 90 runs.

16.6Pushed through on off, Jediah Blades drives this to cover for no run.

16.5Darted onto the pads, Jediah Blades goes for the flick but misses out. Gets it clipped of his pads towards the left of the keeper.

16.4Too full on the pads, Zishan Motara drills this to long on for one.

16.3Tossed up on the pads, Jediah Blades flicks this to deep square for one.

16.2OUT! STUNNER ALERT! Too full, around off, Jason Holder fails to get underneath it and ends up chipping this to the left of the fielder at long off. 15.6Low full toss on the pads, Zishan Motara flicks this to deep mid-wicket for one.

15.5OUT! You just can't keep Kushal Bhurtel out of the game. Aadil Ansari gets his fourth of the contest. On a length around off, slower one, Navin Bidaisee slogs this, looking to take on the fielder patrolling the deep mid-wicket fence. Hits this straight into the safe hands of Kushal Bhurtel at the deep mid-wicket fence for a regulation catch to his standards.

15.4On a length around middle and leg, Jason Holder slogs this to long on for one.

15.3Good length around off, much slower outside off. Jason Holder swings and gets it edged off the inside back to the keeper.

15.2On a length in the line of stumps, Navin Bidaisee drives this to long off for one.

15.1Good length on off, Navin Bidaisee drives this to extra cover for a dot.

13.5OUT! NEPAL ARE IN LALALAND! Wrong'un around off, Akeal Hosein clears his front foot and goes for the slog sweep. Gets it off the toe end of his bat and the ball goes straight to Aadil Ansari at the deep square leg fence. Aadil makes no mistake and holds onto it. West Indies are 7 down for 74.

13.4Tossed up on middle and leg, Akeal Hosein defends this out.

13.3Floated around off, Akeal Hosein leaves it.

13.2OUT! CHOPPED ON! Floated full and wide outside off, Fabian Allen stands his ground and swings away from his body. Swings early and gets it edged off the inside back onto the leg pole. The leg-stump gets uprooted and Fabian Allen has to walk back.

11.6Good length on off, Fabian Allen pushes this towards long off for one.

11.5OUT! CAUGHT! Nepal's side and their fans are pumped up. Back of a length around middle and leg, Amir Jangoo gets cramped for room to free his arms but he still goes for the pull. Mistimes this towards Kushal Bhurtel at the deep mid-wicket fence for a regulation catch.

11.4Full and on off, Jason Holder punches this to long off for one.

11.3That's five runs saved right here from Kushal Malla at the deep backward square leg fence. On a length around the pads, Amir Jangoo flicks this and the ball was going for a biggie to the majority of it's flight. Malla timed his jump to perfection, with his face towards the stands. Plucks this in his left hand and throws it back inside the playing area. He does that just in time before stepping over the fence. Just a single taken.

9.6Pitched-up around off, Jason Holder leans onto it and drives this all along the ground through the extra cover region for three runs. Holder gets off the mark with three.

DRINKS! The West Indies' chase has hit a roadblock, and it'll take a monumental effort to turn things around. Losing four wickets for just 38 runs in the first 9.5 overs makes their initial plan to chase down the target puzzling.

9.5OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Aadil Ansari gets his second! Slower ball on a length and on the off-stump line. Ackeem Auguste gets low and looks to hack it across the line, he misses and the ball goes onto disturb the stumps. West Indies lose their fourth and are in deep trouble.

7.5Full and outside off. Ackeem Auguste plays and misses.

Halt. The ball is lost in the stands. The umpire have called for new balls. We are good to restart.
