Okay then, that wraps up this clash in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans take two very crucial points with their seventh win this season, which shoots them up to the second spot. For SRH, their playoff hopes have almost been extinguished and they will have to win all their remaining games. Now then, we head into another weekend in the Indian Premier League 2025, and up next is a generational clash as two of the biggest stars of Indian cricket will be up against each other. It is round two as Royal Challengers Bengaluru host the Chennai Super Kings in a mouth-watering clash at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium of Bengaluru. While it is all over for CSK this season, a lot is at stake for RCB to stay glued in the upper echelons of the points table. The first ball is scheduled to be bowled on Saturday, 3rd May, at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). But do make sure to mark your presence for all the exciting pre-match build up and analysis. Take care, cheers!

Prasidh Krishna of Gujarat Titans wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH award. He collects the award and also receives the Purple Cap as he now becomes the leading wicket-taker in the season so far. He says he is happy that they won. On his bowling improvement, he feels that his control over his lines and lengths has been good this season, and the support staff has been really helpful. Adds that on the game day, he highlights to watch every ball of the first innings if they're bowling second, he tries to take all that he can from that. He adds that he keeps on chatting with the experienced players around and then goes on to hit the right areas. On his England tour preparations, he says he has got a red ball in his room, but he first looks to finish this tournament well and then think about what's in the future.

The victorious skipper of Gujarat Titans, Shubman Gill, walks up for a chat. He says that the conservation was to play their natural game. Adds that it's not easy to hit sixes on black soil, but he, Sai, and Buttler knows how to keep the scoreboard ticking. Tells they are very hungry to score runs and do what's best for the team. Mentions that as a team, their fielding hasn't been the best, he was very happy with the efforts in this game. Says that everyone is chipping in nicely, and it is nice to have options. Ends by saying that he was having a bit of a discussion with the umpire, and when so many emotions are involved, you are bound to show some on the field.

It is time for the Presentation ceremony...

Jos Buttler of Gujarat Titans is next up to chat. He calls it a great team performance from the team in all three departments. Appreciates Rashid Khan for that brilliant catch to see the back of Travis Head, and feels that set the tone for them. Adds the guys in the top order have been in a tremendous form and says their openers play traditional cricket, but play some amazing shots. On Sai Sudharsan, he says that Sai has a mature head on his shoulders and the way he understands the game is just brilliant. Says to come out every day and put in hard work is not that easy. On Prasidh Krishna, he says he does the basics right and bowls on great lines. Adds that he uses his bouncer and yorker very well. Further points that fielding has been a big improvement for them. On their next match, he says that the Mumbai Indians are in great form and it is always great to play at the Wankhede.

The captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pat Cummins, says that they were not that great with the ball in the Powerplay and gave away 20-30 runs extra. Add that he is probably as guilty as anyone and they should have held onto a couple of catches, and again takes the blame. Mentions that the GT batters are class, they do not do anything outlandish but if you bowl bad balls, they will put them away. Says that it was a really good wicket and going for 140 in 14 overs, was a decent job by the entire bowling unit. Further adds that Abhishek batted nicely, and Head also gave them a good start, but they left a little too much for the batters. Tells that it is unfortunate that they are in this position, but they still have some hope to cling to. Says that it is amazing to play at this venue, and there were no empty seats. Ends by saying that this is the first season after the mega auction, and the core will remain for the next three years, so they still have a lot to play for here.

Earlier in the game, the ever-consistent opening pairing of the Titans came out firing when sent in to bat, with Sudharsan and Gill making SRH's bowlers look ordinary as they peppered the boundary. After a 87-run opening stand, Jos Buttler came in and formed a solid partnership with Gill and they added 62 runs together, totally dominating the mid over phase. Despite Gill getting out, Buttler kept on striking boundaries at regularity, and with some crucial cameos towards the end, GT managed to put on 224 on the board. Once again, the top three of the Titans scored the bulk of runs, as many as 188 runs were scored by the top three, with fifties from Gill and Buttler each. SRH bowlers were taken to the cleaners and their sloppy fielding didn't help their cause either. Jaydev Unadkat was the most successful bowler, chipping in with a three-for, all coming in the final over of the first innings.

A critical factor separating the two teams was their contrasting fielding quality. GT displayed exceptional commitment in the field, with players consistently diving and putting their bodies on the line to save runs and create pressure. SRH, by comparison, appeared noticeably sluggish and imprecise in their fielding efforts, leaking valuable runs through misfields and dropped catches.

Despite Abhishek Sharma's valiant efforts to maintain momentum, those stagnant middle overs ultimately came back to haunt SRH. The wheels completely fell off when both Abhishek and the big-hitting Klaasen departed in rapid succession, snuffing out any remaining hope. Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj returned for devastating new spells, grabbing control of the match and dismantling SRH's middle order with two wickets apiece. The collapse was dramatic and decisive as SRH plummeted from a fighting 139/2 to a disastrous 145/6, which put the curtains on their chase.

Once the field restrictions eased, GT's bowlers immediately tightened the screws. SRH managed just 29 runs in the next four overs with a measly output of only two sixes and a four till the 10th over, also losing Ishan Kishan along the way. The batting momentum that had promised so much during the Powerplay suddenly evaporated.

Known for crushing massive targets like their 240-plus chase earlier this season, SRH's openers Head and Abhishek, wasted no time launching their assault on GT's pace attack with some crisp boundary shots. The dangerous partnership had GT sweating until Prasidh Krishna got the breakthrough, thanks to Rashid Khan's spectacular diving catch. Despite losing a crucial wicket, SRH still powered to an impressive 57/1 by the end of the Powerplay.

A job well done by Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad as they get back to winning ways. Failed to defend 209 in the previous game against RR, they have roared back in style and have outclassed Sunrisers Hyderabad in all three facets of the game. This marks SRH's seventh defeat this season and their playoff hopes get another blow. They can still reach a max of 14 points, but they will have to win all games remaining from here. Their journey, of course, gets more and more difficult from here as they remain stuck in the second-to-the-bottom of the table, with only 6 points.

19.6A dot to wrap things up for GT! Sai Kishore tosses it up, full and on leg, Nitish Kumar Reddy goes for the reverse sweep again but gets it from the inner half of the bat as the ball rolls to point. GUJARAT TITANS WIN BY 38 RUNS!

19.5Slows it up, full and on leg, turns away, Pat Cummins goes through his sweep early as the ball goes off his midriff towards point. A leg bye is taken.

19.4Floated, short and on leg, Nitish Kumar Reddy works it off the inner half of the bat to short fine for a run.

19.3Flatter, full and on leg, Nitish Kumar Reddy goes for the reverse sweep but misses and gets hit on the pads.

Ishant Sharma is on the ground and looks in a bit of pain. He is helped by Shahrukh Khan to get up on his feet. Might have pulled off the hamstring as he is limping and is going off the field now. Sai Kishore will finish off the last rites in this game. Surprisingly, GT didn't use his services with the ball in this game at all.

19.2Uppish but safe again! Another full toss, on middle, Pat Cummins tries to slog it away but gets a top edge. The ball flies high in the air but lands in the vacant mid-wicket region as Rashid Khan from the deep cannot reach it. A single is taken. However, Ishant also slipped on his follow-through and looks in a bit of pain here.

19.1Put down! A full toss, on middle, Pat Cummins mistimes his lofted shot high in the night sky over the bowler's head. Ishant Sharma is a bit late in reacting to run backwards and fails to reach it. Two runs taken.

Ishant Sharma (3-0-32-1) to bowl the last over.

18.6SIX MORE! Rashid Khan has taken a beating in this game! He drops it short and on middle. Nitish Kumar Reddy rocks back quickly and whacks it into the second tier over the deep mid-wicket fence for half a dozen more.

18.5SIX! Nitish Kumar Reddy goes big too! Flighted, full and on middle, Nitish Kumar Reddy goes down on one knee and nails the slog-sweep over the deep mid-wicket fence for another biggie.

18.4Drags his length back, on off, Pat Cummins slaps it down the ground wide of long off. Mohammed Siraj runs to his right and makes a fantastic diving stop. Just one. The fielding from GT has been superb in this game.

18.3SIX! Gets hold of that one! Tossed up, full and on middle, Pat Cummins clears his front leg away and deposits it over the deep mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

18.2Short again and on middle, Nitish Kumar Reddy nudges it through square leg for a run.

18.1Short and on leg, Pat Cummins pulls it to deep square leg on the bounce for a single.

Rashid Khan (2-0-29-0) to bowl the penultimate over. Also, Gujarat Titans are penalised for a slow over rate. Meaning, the fielding team is permitted to have only 4 fielders outside the 30-yards.

17.6Hard length and on middle, Pat Cummins heaves it to deep square leg for one.

17.5Pitched up and on off, Pat Cummins goes for the slog but gets a top edge well wide of third man and comes back for the second run. Ishant Sharma collects and scores a direct hit at the batter's end but Cummins is well in.

17.4On a length and on leg, Nitish Kumar Reddy flicks it to deep square leg for one.

17.3FOUR! Good effort in the deep! Short of a length and on off, Nitish Kumar Reddy backs away and carves it towards deep point. Rashid Khan runs forward and goes for the catch with a slide but the ball bounces well in front of him and goes over for a boundary.

17.3Fuller one but down the leg side, Nitish Kumar Reddy misses his flick. Wided.

17.2Back of a length and on middle, Pat Cummins looks to pull but gets an inside edge onto his pads as the ball rolls to the leg side. A leg bye is taken.

17.1Fuller and on leg, Nitish Kumar Reddy flicks it to deep square leg for a single.

16.6Nearly! Mohammed Siraj fires in a brilliant yorker, tailing in sharply. Pat Cummins just about gets his bat down in time as the ball goes off the inside edge and races to the fine leg fence for a boundary.

SRH skipper, Pat Cummins is in at 8.

16.5OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A fantastic catch from Jos Buttler behind the stumps! Mohammed Siraj goes short again and on middle and leg. Kamindu Mendis steps across to help it on its way with the pull, but fails to get the connection right. The ball goes off the face of the bat wide of the keeper, where Buttler flings himself to his right and takes a stunning diving catch. Siraj is on a Hat Trick now as Kamindu departs for a golden duck.

Kamindu Mendis is in at number 7 for SRH.

16.4OUT! TAKEN! Mohammed Siraj joins the party now! He bangs this one into the pitch, on middle, gets some extra bounce. Aniket Verma stays back and tries to swat it down the ground but the ball just gets big on him and he mistimes his shot. Shahrukh Khan stationed at long on pouches it safely. Sunrisers Hyderabad lose half their side now!

16.3A full toss, on middle, angling in, Aniket Verma looks to slog it away but gets an inside edge onto his pads as the ball rolls to the off side. Three dots now!

16.2Back of a length and on middle, Aniket Verma flat-bats it back to the bowler.

16.1Close! Mohammed Siraj nails the yorker, on off, tailing in, Aniket Verma fails to get his bat down in time as the ball misses the off pole by a whisker.

15.6A good yorker, on middle, Aniket Verma jams it out through mid-wicket for one. Prasidh Krishna just keeps impressing this season. Another superb spell from him!

15.5On a length and on leg, Aniket Verma nudges it towards deep square leg for a brace.

15.4Fuller and on middle, Nitish Kumar Reddy drills it to long on for a run.

Nitish Kumar Reddy is in next to bat.

15.3OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Prasidh Krishna gets the big fish! That just might be the final nail in the coffin for SRH. Back of a length and on middle and leg. Heinrich Klaasen shuffles across to play the scoop but only manages to get a thin inside edge behind, where Jos Buttler makes no mistake. The finger goes up on the appeal from the bowler. SRH four down now as Klaasen departs for 23 (18).

15.2NOT OUT! Good length and on middle, angling in, Aniket Verma moves a long way across to flick it but misses and gets hit high on the pads. The ball deflects away as the batters take a leg bye. There is also an appeal for LBW, but turned down. However, Shubman Gill takes the review. Ball Tracking shows that it is going over the wickets. GT lose a review!

Is that LBW? Shubman Gill is on the field again, and goes upstairs straightaway for a review. A clear gap between the bat and the ball on the leg side. Ball Tracking shows the ball is missing the leg stump. NOT OUT.

15.1Fuller one and on middle, Heinrich Klaasen tucks it away to deep mid-wicket for a single.

Aniket Verma is the next man in.

14.6OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! The writing seems to be pretty much on the wall here for SRH with Abhishek's departure now! Ishant corrects both line and length now, a back-of-a-length delivery, on the leg stump line, just lifting bit more off the deck. Abhishek Sharma clears the front leg and attempts to sail the ball behind deep mid-wicket with a pull shot, but loses his shape a bit and it is a bit too close to the body to play that shot. Ends up hitting it off the toe-end of the bat. Mohammed Siraj runs in forward from the deep and takes a fine low catch. Abhishek Sharma departs for a fine knock of 74 from 41 deliveries. SRH are 139/3, needing another 86 runs to win, from 30 balls.

14.5FOUR! A loosener and gets punished! Another full toss from Ishant, outside off, just below the waist height, Abhishek Sharma swings his bat and the ball gets slices over the short third region for a boundary.

14.5WIDE! Angled a bit too wide of off, a full toss, outside the tramline. Abhishek Sharma opts out of the shot. Wide called.

14.4Full and outside off, way away from the reach of Klaasen. He goes for an expansive off drive but the ball takes the bottom edge and runs to short third. A single taken.

14.3FOUR! Over the inner ring and Klaasen gets a boundary! Pace off from Ishant, full and outside off, Heinrich Klaasen gets crouched a bit and slices it over the backward point region for a boundary. This brings up the 50-run stand between Klaasen and Abhishek.

14.2Angled across off, on a fullish length, Abhishek Sharma drags it along the ground to long on for another run. Singles won't bother GT at all here.

14.1Lands it fuller and on off, Heinrich Klaasen heaves it off the inner half of the bat, to long on for only a single.

Strategic Break! Gujarat Titans are on top of this game and will be confident of closing it out. Their bowlers have been very good so far, and unlike SRH, the fielders have backed them up nicely. They know that the pressure is on the batters and they will have to take risks that will create opportunities for them. Sunrisers Hyderabad needs someone to play a blinder, and a lot will rely on this pair of Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen, as they do have the ability to hunt this down, but it will not be easy at all with no dew on the outfield. Also, Shubman Gill has gone off the field, and Anuj Rawat comes in as the substitute fielder. Ishant Sharma to bowl after the break.

13.6Into the pitch, around off, Abhishek Sharma goes for the pull shot, but swings and only connects thin air.

13.5Back of a length, around off, Heinrich Klaasen pulls it along the ground to long on for a single.

Halt! It looks like Abhishek Sharma has hurt his toes while playing the previous ball and is getting some treatment from the physio. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is in a heated discussion with the umpire. He thinks that the ball directly hits the shoes of the batter, and pitching should not be a point of concern on the review. He is clearly not happy with the explanation given by the umpires and walks back to his position.

13.4Fires in a yorker, at the boots, does Krishna. Abhishek shuffles a bit towards the off stump, and tries to whip it over the leg side, but the ball passes close to the inside edge and hits his front toe before rolling into the leg side. Abhishek calls for a run and Klaasen obeys his partner. With no one inside the circle there, Krishna gets to the ball and throws it to the bowler's end, but misses to hit the stumps at the bowler's end. Abhishek reaches home safely. However, a review is taken by Gill for LBW. There is no bat involved as per the third umpire. The Ball Tracking shows that the ball is crashing into the leg stump, but its impact is on the umpire's call on the leg stump line. NOT OUT and they will get a leg bye.

13.3Hard length, on top of off, Heinrich Klaasen pushes it between cover and mid off for a single. Exactly 100 needed off the last 39 balls remaining.

13.2A yorker, around off, Abhishek Sharma exposes the stumps to carve out to the cover region for a single. Rushes to the other end to complete the run and gets home before the throw.

13.1Hard length, around off, slapped off the back foot to cover, but stopped well by Gill to his left.

Prasidh Krishna (2-0-11-1) is back on. Before he starts his over, the ground staff is putting some sawdust on the landing area.

12.6Pitched fuller and on leg, Abhishek Sharma chips it over mid off for a single.

12.5IN THE AIR...DROPPED! Rather, runs saved by Tewatia as it was traveling! Fuller in length, around off, Heinrich Klaasen takes the aerial route over mid off. The ball dips on the long off fielder, but it is still over the head height of the fielder in the deep. Rahul Tewatia, though, times his leap to perfection, sticks his left hand over his shoulders and grabs the ball. But while tumbling, he lobs the ball into the field of play and falls near the boundary ropes. Just a single then.

12.4A googly, on off, Abhishek Sharma loses the shape as he charges down and tries to take on the full delivery. Finds the leading edge and the ball lands on the bounce in front of short third. A single taken.

12.3SIX! Abhishek Sharma is carrying the flag for the Sunrisers here! A leg break, with the length pulled back slightly, around off, Abhishek Sharma clears the front leg and launches it over the deep mid-wicket region for a massive six.

12.2FOUR! Abhishek is in full flow! A bit too full from Khan, on the middle, Abhishek Sharma advances down the track, makes it a full toss and drills it straight down the ground for a cracking boundary.

12.1Outside off, on a length, spinning away, Heinrich Klaasen cuts this through covers for a single.

11.6Short and on top of off, Heinrich Klaasen hops on the back foot and cuts it to the point region for one.

11.5Length-delivery, just outside the off stump. Abhishek Sharma powers it down the ground to long off for a single.

11.4An appeal for LBW, but not entertained. Jos Buttler too, looks unsure of it and they do not challenge it. Cannoned in fuller and on off, Abhishek Sharma again shuffles to play the identical shot from the previous ball, but misses to get any bat this time and the ball raps on the pad. Impact looks clearly outside off.

11.3SIX! FIFTY FOR ABHISHEK SHARMA! What a shot that is! His 8th of the IPL career! Too full and fired onto the pads from Gerald Coetzee. Abhishek Sharma gets across and just whips it behind deep fine leg for a six.

11.2Pulls the length back, outside off, Heinrich Klaasen mistimes the heave across to mid-wicket for a single.

11.1Pitched up, full and on off, at 144 kph, Heinrich Klaasen pushes it straight to mid off.

10.6A googly, on off, on a length, Heinrich Klaasen cuts it square to deep backward point for a single. 15 off Rashid's first over then. The 100 is up for the visitors. SRH still require 125 off the last 54 balls remaining.

10.5SIX! Signature Klaasen strike! Drags the length back a bit, does Rashid, just outside off, Heinrich Klaasen rocks back and launches it behind long on for a six.

10.4Flat again, around off, drilled down to long off for a single.

10.3SIX! FANTASTIC SHOT! Dishes it on a fuller length, on middle, Abhishek Sharma comes charging down the track and launches it downtown, right behind the sightscreen for a massive six.

10.2Flat and quick, on the leg stump, stays low, Heinrich Klaasen hangs back and heaves it to deep mid-wicket for a single.

10.1Rashid Khan is into the attack now. Full on off, pushed to cover.

9.6Back of a length and on off, Heinrich Klaasen punches it through covers for one more.

9.5Hard length and on middle Abhishek Sharma drags it to deep mid-wicket for one.

9.4Short of a length and on middle, Heinrich Klaasen pulls it through mid-wickt for a single.

Heinrich Klaasen is in at number 4.

9.3OUT! TAKEN! Gerald Coetzee strikes! He pitches it up and around off, Ishan Kishan steps across to slog it to the leg side but loses his shape completely. The ball takes the leading edge and flies towards third man where Prasidh Krishna moves a bit to his right and takes it nicely with a reverse cup while sliding across. An animated celebration from Coetzee as he gets his first wicket. SRH are 82/2 now, still needing 143 runs in 63 balls.

9.2Full again and on middle, Ishan Kishan swipes it off the inside half of the bat towards deep square leg for a brace.

9.1Fuller one and on middle, Ishan Kishan heaves it off the inner half towards mid-wicket.

8.6Short again and on middle, Ishant Sharma tries to swipe but gets an inside edge towards short fine for one more. Excellent over from Washy!

8.5Tossed up, full and on leg, Abhishek Sharma backs away and drives it to long off for one.

8.5Fires one full but down the leg side, Abhishek Sharma misses his flick. Wided.

8.4Flighted, full and on middle, Ishan Kishan eases it to long on for another run.

8.3Flatter, short and on middle, Ishan Kishan moves back and tries to heave it away but gets a bottom edge onto his pads.

8.2Floated, full and on leg, Abhishek Sharma uses his feet to loft it away but gets an inside edge through mid-wicket for a run.

8.1Short and on leg, Ishan Kishan pulls it to deep square leg for a single.

Spin has been introduced now. Washington Sundar is into the attack. He replaces Prasidh Krishna.

7.6Short of a length and around off, Ishan Kishan bunts it out through backward ponit for one.

7.5Great teamwork in the deep! Pitched up and on off, Abhishek Sharma looks to loft it over mid off but mistimes it high up in the air but well over the fielder. Mohammed Siraj chases after it and gets his fingertips on it to slow its momentum as he himself runs into the ropes. His traveling partner, Shubman Gill, shows good game awareness, as he comes in flying in and dives to stop it from touching the ropes. Three runs taken. All this to save one run, which, indeed, can make a lot of difference in the end.

7.4Swing and a miss! Hard length and around off, Abhishek Sharma looks for the heave but misses.

7.3In the air....safe! Touch fuller and around off, Abhishek Sharma throws his bat at it but slices it high in the air. However, luckily for him, it lands in no man's land near the sweeper covers region. Two runs taken.

7.2FOUR! Streaky! Gerald Coetzee bangs in a good bumper, on middle, takes off a bit. Abhishek Sharma looks to pull it away but gets a top edge that flies over the head of the keeper for a boundary.

7.1On a length and on off, Ishan Kishan pushes it towards covers for a single.

Strategic Break. It has been a positive start in the chase for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but having lost Travis Head inside the restrictions, they have just managed to score 13 in the last two overs. Both, Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma will look to make sure that they don't get bogged down much and score runs freely to keep the asking rate in the approachable territory. Whereas, a wicket or two for GT will really put them in the driver's seat here. It was in the middle over phase where Gujarat Titans really accelerated. And now then, Gerald Coetzee is introduced into the attack right after the break. He replaces Mohammed Siraj.

6.6Pitched up and on middle, Ishan Kishan lofts it away but not with much timing towards long on for one more.

6.5Prasidh Krishna bowls a good yorker, on off, Ishan Kishan backs away a bit too much and fails to reach it.

6.4Short of a length and on leg, Abhishek Sharma hooks it wide of fine leg for one.

6.4Full again but down the leg side, Abhishek Sharma misses his flick. Wided.

6.3Goes fuller and on leg, Ishan Kishan swipes it to fine leg for another run.

6.2Prasidh Krishna sees the batter advance and bangs this into the pitch, ranging in. Abhishek Sharma gets cramped up and nudges it towards square leg for a run.

6.1Close call! On a length and on middle, Ishan Kishan clips it towards mid-wicket and sets off for the run. Rashid Khan is quick to get to the ball and has a shy at the bowler's end. Kishan gets a bit lazy and has to put in a dive in the end. However, a direct hit would have had him.

5.6Bangs this one into the pitch, on leg, Ishan Kishan pulls it to deep square leg for one. Sunrisers Hyderabad are 56/1 at the end of the Powerplay!

5.5Hard length and around leg, Ishan Kishan looks to whip it away but misses and gets hit on the pads.

5.4Right in the blockhole, on middle, Abhishek Sharma tucks it away to deep mid-wicket for a run.

5.3FOUR! Up and over! Short of a length and on middle and leg, Abhishek Sharma backs away to create some room and crunches it over point for a boundary.

5.2Back of a length and on middle, Abhishek Sharma mistimes his pull towards mid-wicket.

5.1On a length and on leg, Ishan Kishan tucks it towards mid-wicket for a single.

4.6WHOA! A jaffa from Krishna! Cannons in a yorker outside the leg stump line, from around the stumps. Abhishek Sharma shimmies down the track to play it into the off side, but gets no bat.

4.5Short of good length outside off, Abhishek blocks it off.

4.4Length ball, around the off stump. Ishan Kishan cuts it towards deep backward point for a single. The 50 is up for SRH!

Ishan Kishan walks out to bat at number 3.

4.3OUT! LAUNCHED INTO THE AIR, AND TAKEN! WHAT A SUPERB CATCH FROM RASHID! Travis Head is in absolute disbelief! Hard length, from over the stumps and on the off and middle stump line. Travis Head opens up his stance to give himself some room to pull it over the leg side, but gets it mistimed in the air. It sails over the deep mid-wicket region and descends just before the ropes. Rashid Khan sprints to the right, covering a lot of yards, and slides to take a fabulous catch at deep mid-wicket. He not only maintains the ball in his hand while sliding, but also shows a good example of deceleration as well, as he wasn't that far from the boundary ropes. All the GT players rush towards the Afghan leggie in admiration and GT get their first breakthrough. Travis Head departs for a quickfire 20 and SRH are 49/1.

4.2FOUR! Done with ease! Too full, outside off, Travis Head clears the front leg, squats a bit and carves it through covers for a boundary.

4.1Prasidh Krishna is into the attack. Length-delivery, around off, hoicked across to mid-wicket.

3.6Angling into the leg stump, on a length, cramping the batter for room. Abhishek Sharma does well to stab the ball on the surface. 12 off Ishant's second over, and 20 from the last two overs for SRH.

3.5SIX! Bread and butter for someone like Abhishek! He currently bosses the battle between the two Sharmas here. Pitched around off, angling in. Abhishek Sharma charges down the track and spanks it over deep extra cover for a six.

3.4Around the stumps, fuller and on middle, Travis Head heaves it towards widish mid-wicket. Mohammed Siraj does a good job as he runs and dives to his left to stop the ball. Restricts the batters to just a single.

3.3Hurls it across off, on a length, Travis Head swooshes at it to play the square cut, but misses.

2.6A yorker on the leg stump line, Abhishek Sharma digs it out back to the bowler. Siraj shows a bit of frustration there as he collects the ball on his follow-through and throws it flat and straight to the stumps at the batter's end. However, Abhishek gets in the crease before the throw. This is Siraj's 100th dot ball this season. He is currently third in the list, just behind Khaleel Ahmed of CSK, and Josh Hazlewood of RCB.

2.1Back of length, around off, Travis Head gets on the toes and taps it to the off side, beside the pitch for a quick single.

1.6SIX! Abhishek spoils the over for Ishant! Cracking shot that! Takes some pace off, does Sharma, full and on off, the other Sharma with the bat, gets forward and spanks it over long off for a six. Free flow of the bat!

1.5Angling into the pads again, too full, Travis Head misses to flick across and the ball rolls to the leg side, behind square. They rush across for a leg bye. So far, so good from Ishant Sharma.

1.4Back of a length, on the leg stump line, Abhishek Sharma skips forward and pats it to the cover region for a quick single.

1.1From around the stumps and a slip in position, Ishant bowls into the batter, on middle, Abhishek Sharma flicks it along the ground to deep square leg for a single. The call is for two, but the batters settle for a single.

Ishant Sharma to bowl from the other end.

0.6Full and wide across off, Abhishek Sharma prods ahead and lifts it over point. A single to wrap the first over. A positive start for SRH in the chase - 15/0.

0.3Had to hurry! Back of a length, around middle and off, Abhishek Sharma punches it in front of cover and rushes off for a single. Travis Head has to hurry to reach at the batting end, but the fielder misses to hit the stumps and Head safely arrives home.

0.2SIX! INTENT! Siraj bowls it into the slot, on middle and leg, Abhishek Sharma charges down the track and smacks it over long off for a cracking six.

0.1Head and SRH are off the mark in the chase! A little bit of an inward shape, on middle and on a length, Travis Head hops on the back foot and nudges it to deep backward square leg for a single.
