Right then, that brings the curtains down on another high-stakes clash! Chennai Super Kings have officially been knocked out of the tournament, and from here on, it’s only pride they’ll be playing for. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, leap to second place on the points table and have a real shot at locking in a top-two finish. Up next, we usher in a brand-new month with a blockbuster clash in the Indian Premier League! On May 1st, 2025, Thursday, it's Match 50 at the iconic Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, where the Rajasthan Royals take on the Mumbai Indians in a high-stakes encounter with two crucial points up for grabs. The action kicks off at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT), but as always, don’t miss a moment of the pre-match buzz and tune in early for all the build-up. Until then, it's goodbye and cheers.

Shreyas Iyer, the victorious skipper of the Punjab Kings, is also the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his outstanding knock of 72 runs in 41 balls. Shreyas says he loves chasing and thrives for big totals and looks to build momentum for the next batters to come in, and backs his instincts. On his away record, he says he is just enjoying while staying in the present and just reacts to the ball and doesn't want to jinx it. Mentions that he bats a lot in the nets and faces quick bowlers with the new ball, which gives him a lot of confidence, and he keeps his attitude high, which all just shows in the field. Says fielding was very draining with the heat and humidity. Further talks about the chat with Ricky Ponting in the middle overs, where they decided not to leave it too late because CSK had some quality death bowlers. Concludes that he watched out for a few balls to assess the conditions and lauds the openers for the way they are just going out and expressing themselves.

It's time for the Presentation Ceremony ...

Prabhsimran Singh of Punjab Kings is up for a quick chat too. He talks about his partnership with Priyansh Arya and says they both are batting well, and the wicket was a bit slow at the start, so Arya was taking his time, and thus, he became the aggressor. States that they had been told in the camps before the tournament that they both would open the inning, and they bonded well from that camp only, and they even played practice matches together. Mentions that he had a belief when he was batting with Shreyas Iyer, as he knew that Iyer would hit the boundary if he had missed it, and vice versa. Tells that he just wants to score runs, which should be in the winning cause, even if they are 35-40s and not 70-80s. Further adds that he gives full credit for this winning form of the team to the coach, Ricky Ponting, and he is open to talking to anybody in the team who has kept a good vibe in the team. Says that they are eyeing the trophy because it has been a long time, and they want to win it.

MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, is down for a chat. MS says that for the first time, they put the runs on the board, but he still thinks they were 10-15 runs short. Adds that the partnership between Brevis and Sam was brilliant. But they need to take some catches that slow down the momentum. Mentions that they lost too many wickets towards the end, and they didn't play the 20 overs as there were still four balls remaining. In the 19th over, they lost four wickets, which is another four dot balls and in a close game, that proves to be the difference. Says that Curran is a fighter, but whenever they played him earlier this season, the wickets were a bit slow, but this one was a good one. Tells that Brevis brings in the momentum in the middle order, and he is a great fielder as well. Ends by saying that he is very happy with him and can be an asset going forward.

Earlier in the game, CSK endured yet another rocky start, losing three quick wickets inside the Powerplay. But amidst the early chaos, Sam Curran emerged as the stabilising force, showcasing a perfect blend of calculated aggression and composure. He first forged a crucial 78-run stand with Dewald Brevis, followed by a vital 46-run partnership with Shivam Dube, dragging CSK out of early trouble and laying the foundation for a strong total. However, just as CSK looked set to push past 200, they lost Curran for 88 runs and then were stunned by spin wizard Yuzvendra Chahal, who turned the game on its head with a hat-trick in the penultimate over - that saw him finish with four wickets in a single over. Punjab Kings wrapped up the CSK innings for 190, with four balls still to spare, ending the innings on a massive high, which eventually proved to be the difference.

For Chennai Super Kings, it was a rare bright spot with the bat, especially considering the struggles they've faced this season. But their bowling let them down in defence. The lack of discipline was glaring, and only three overs in the entire innings of PBKS went boundary-less, painting a clear picture of both poor execution from the bowlers and clinical dominance by the Punjab batters. In a must-win game, CSK simply couldn’t bring the fire with the ball.

Though Prabhsimran Singh was dismissed by Noor Ahmad after reaching his half-century, it was Shreyas Iyer who truly lit up the chase. Taking full charge, he reached his fifty in style and launched a relentless assault, dismantling CSK’s bowling attack and ensuring the chase never went off track. Even though he and a couple of others fell near the end, the job was virtually done. All that was left was the finishing touch, a streaky edge from Jansen, but it was enough to seal the deal in Punjab’s favour.

Chasing a stiff target, Punjab Kings turned once again to their trusted opening pair, and they delivered. Priyansh Arya came out blazing, while Prabhsimran Singh took his time to settle in. Together, they stitched a fluent 44-run opening stand before Khaleel Ahmed struck within the Powerplay, doing what he does best - breaking partnerships early. But the dismissal didn’t derail Punjab. In walked Shreyas Iyer, cool as ever, and he immediately clicked into rhythm. Alongside Prabhsimran, he kept the scoreboard ticking, countering spin from both ends with measured aggression, guiding PBKS to 88/1 at the halfway mark.

Not the most convincing finish from Punjab Kings, with a few unnecessary hiccups towards the end, but they still got the job done, storming home to a clinical 4-wicket win. The two crucial points not only revive their playoff push but also propel them to second on the table with 13 points, firmly back in contention for those top two spots. Meanwhile, it’s curtains down for Chennai Super Kings, who have been teetering on the edge for a while now. With this defeat, they become the first team to be officially eliminated from the tournament. A bitter ending to a disappointing season, made even more painful by the fact that it came in front of their home crowd at Chepauk. The roar of the Yellow Army falls silent as CSK's campaign ends in heartbreak.

19.4FOUR! FINALLY, FINALLY PUNJAB KINGS WIN THIS GAME AND BY FOUR WICKETS! Hard length and around middle, Marco Jansen stands tall and looks to swipe it across the line. He gets a big inside edge as the ball goes past the diving keeper, MS Dhoni, to his left and to the ropes for a boundary.

19.3WOW! A dot ball now! On a length and outside off, Marco Jansen cuts it, but straight to point where Ravindra Jadeja collects the ball. PBKS still need 1 run.

Marco Jansen walks out to bat with Punjab Kings needing just one run to win.

19.2OUT! CAUGHT! What drama is unfolding here in Chepauk, and PBKS still need one run. A slower short ball and around middle, Suryansh Shedge moves across in his crease a bit and looks to pull it. He mistimes it, and the ball goes to deep square leg, where Noor Ahmad takes it with both hands.

19.2WIDE! This is a clear one as Khaleel Ahmed bowls it fuller and down the leg side. Suryansh Shedge misses his flick shot on this one.

19.1A short ball and around leg, Suryansh Shedge makes room and looks to cut it away towards third man but misses. He takes a review for the wide and the third umpire checks the replays and calls it a fair ball as it is below the head height.

18.6A low full toss and around middle, Josh Inglis misses his flick shot and gets pinged on the front pad. There is no appeal as it is going down leg and PBKS need just 2 runs in the last over.

18.5Full and outside off, Suryansh Shedge gets a big inside edge as he looks to drive it towards fine leg and gets a single.

Suryansh Shedge comes out to the middle now.

18.4OUT! DRAGGED ON! Is there any twist in the tale for CSK? Matheesha Pathirana bowls it on a dragged length and touch outside off, with pace on this time. Shreyas Iyer shuffles across a bit and looks to slog it across the line to the leg side. But he only manages to get a thick inside edge, and the ball goes and rattles the off stump. Iyer walks back after scoring 72 off 41 runs, but would have liked to finish the job. PBKS need just three runs.

18.3Matheesha Pathirana again executes a yorker and around middle, Josh Inglis swings hard at it and gets a thick inside edge past the leg stump behind the wickets to the left of the keeper and they run a single.

18.2A yorker again and around off, Shreyas Iyer drills it to mid-wicket for a single.

18.1Leg bye! A yorker and on the pad, Josh Inglis misses his flick shot and gets a leg bye as the ball rolls away towards square leg.

17.6Full and around off, Josh reverse-sweeps it again but straight to deep backward point this time for a single. PBKS need 6 runs now.

17.5FOUR! INNOVATION! Very full and quicker, around off, Josh Inglis switches his stance and reverse-sweeps it to the right of short third man for a boundary.

17.4Full and on the pads, Josh Inglis gets a leading edge as he looks to flick it but back to the bowler on the bounce.

Josh Inglis is the next man in.

17.3OUT! CAUGHT! A spectacular grab this from Dewald Brevis and PBKS lose Shashank Singh on the verge of a probable win here! Flatter and quicker, on a length and around middle, Shashank Singh goes on the back foot and pulls it towards deep mid-wicket. He hits it hard but doesn't get the desired elevation. Dewald Brevis moves to his right there in the deep and keeps his eyes on the ball. He leaps up to grab it, but flicks it up in the air as he realises he is going over the ropes. He jumps again and catches it mid-air but once again throws up before coming into the field to catch it again. The third umpire is called into action, and he checks the replays, which show that it is a fair catch. Great composure from the youngster!

Is that a clean grab from Dewald Brevis near the ropes? The replay shows that his first contact with the ball is inside the field. Then, as he goes over, he releases the ball while being in the air and then does it again. In the end, he takes the catch inside the field. A brilliant effort.

17.2SIX! TOP SHOT! Jadeja gives air to this one and bowls it on a tempting length and around middle, Shashank Singh waits for it and launches it over the long off fence for a biggie. PBKS need just 11 now.

17.1FOUR! POWERED AWAY! Jadeja keeps it short and quick, around middle, Shashank Singh stands tall and lofts it down the ground over the bowler's head for a boundary.

Ravindra Jadeja comes back into the attack. He has conceded 17 runs in his first 2 overs.

16.6A bit short and outside off, Shashank Singh guides it towards third man and gets a single. A big over for PBKS as 20 comes off it and they need 21 off the last three now.

16.5In the air but falls safe! Full and outside off, Shreyas Iyer mistimes his lofted shot over cover point and the ball lands down before the incoming deep point fielder. They get a single and Iyer is riding his luck here!

16.4FOUR! This is a display of the highest order of batting from Shreyas Iyer! Matheesha Pathirana executes his yorker now and outside off, Iyer brings his bat down in time and guides it to the left of short third for a boundary. He really is in good form and wants to finish it himself!

16.4WIDE! A yorker now but down leg, Iyer misses his flick shot and it is called a wide!

16.3SIX! Shreyas Iyer has started an onslaught here! Full again and around middle, Iyer uses his wrists and flicks it out over the wide long on fence for another biggie.

16.2SIX! MUSCLED! Matheesha Pathirana misses his yorker here and bowls a full ball, right in the slot, and slower as well. Shreyas Iyer clears out his front leg away and thumps it over the bowler's head for a biggie. What a sight to watch this!

16.1Very full and around middle, Shashank Singh remains deep in his crease and lofts it down the ground to wide long on for a single. The fielder is a bit straight there.

15.6Tossed it up and on leg, Singh sweeps it to deep square leg for one more. 150 comes up for PBKS and they need 41 runs now off 24 balls.

15.5Touch short and outside off, Shashank Singh swats it towards deep mid-wicket off the inner half of the bat and sneaks two runs in quick time.

15.4Gets away with one, does Noor! A full toss and on the pads, Shreyas Iyer shuffles across a bit and looks to swipe it across but gets it off the inner half of the bat to short fine leg. They run a single but Iyer thinks he has missed out on this one.

15.3Keeps it much shorter and around middle, Shashank Singh gets a leading edge as he looks to flick it towards extra cover and they run a single.

15.2Drags his length back a bit and around off, Shashank Singh plays it out back to the bowler.

15.1SIX! WHAT A STRIKE! Noor floats it up and on the pads, Shashank Singh goes on his knees and picks it up with a sweep shot. He gets it over the deep backward square leg fence for a biggie. Perfect start to the over.

14.6Hard length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer swipes it away wide of long on. The fielder runs to his right and dives to push the ball back inside. Two runs taken. Punjab Kings needs 52 runs in the last 5 overs.

14.5On a length and on middle, Shashank Singh flicks it through square leg for a run.

14.4A slower one, on a length and on off, Shashank Singh looks to guide it away but misses.

Shashank Singh comes out to bat.

14.3OUT! TAKEN! A stunner at point! Matheesha Pathirana misses his yorker again, outside off. Nehal Wadhera uses his feet to take it on the full and opens the face to slice it away. However, he hits it straight towards point. It travels flat and hard, but Ravindra Jadeja gets down quickly and takes a fantastic catch inches above the ground.

14.2FOUR! Good shot! A low full toss, on off, Nehal Wadhera plays with a straight bat and thumps it wide of mid off for a boundary.

14.1A full toss on the pads, Shreyas Iyer flicks it towards deep square leg for on the bounce for a single.

STRATEGIC BREAK! Punjab Kings have this chase well in their hands now as they need 60 runs in the last six overs. Their skipper, Shreyas Iyer, is well set with a half century, and they still have eight wickets in their kitty. Though Prabhsimran Singh got out after a fifty but he did his job up the order and provided a much-needed base for this big chase for them. On the contrary, Chennai Super Kings need wickets and that too in clusters to make a comeback in this game. They lost their plot in the last couple of overs in the first inning, and they haven't done well in the bowling either. Matheesha Pathirana has proved to be a bit expensive in his first over, and the spin has also been ineffective today for them so far. There have been a couple of fielding lapses as well, and that is hurting them a big time. Can they make a comeback, or will PBKS go home with ease? Let's find out, and with that, Matheesha Pathirana comes back into the attack.

13.6FIFTY FOR IYER! A brilliant captain's knock but he knows that the job is not done yet. Short of a length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer pulls it to deep square leg for one.

13.5FOUR! Gets it through! Fuller and outside off, Shreyas Iyer stays deep inside his crease, extends his arms and smacks it through extra covers for a boundary.

13.4Hard length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer swats it over the bowler's head and wide of long off for a brace.

13.3SIX! Into the crowd! Sam Curran bowls the loopy slower one, full and on middle. Shreyas Iyer picks it up very early. He clears his front leg out and smokes it over the deep mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

13.2Fuller and on leg, Nehal Wadhera flicks it towards deep mid-wicket for a run.

13.1A slower one, full and on middle, Shreyas Iyer heaves it towards deep mid-wicket for a single.

Nehal Wadhera comes out to bat at number four for PBKS.

12.6OUT! TAKEN IN THE DEEP! Noor Ahmad finally has his man! Matheesha Pathirana is a relieved man, and Chennai Super Kings get the much-needed breakthrough. This is the wrong'un, full and on middle. Prabhsimran Singh goes down on a knee to slog sweep it, but gets a bit of a top edge as he has to drag it and does not get the elevation. The ball goes high in the air towards deep mid-wicket, where Dewald Brevis settles under it and takes a good catch. PB departs after a fine fifty, and PBKS are 116/2!

12.5Flighted, full and around off, Shreyas Iyer lofts it towards sweeper covers for one.

12.4SIX! Just over! Drags his length back, on middle. Shreyas Iyer rocks back and pulls it hard towards mid-wicket. Dewald Brevis thinks he is in the game and leaps up, but the ball just goes over his head for a biggie. He lands really hard on his back and looks a bit in pain.

12.3DROPPED! A massive moment in this game! Noor Ahmad bowls another googly, full and on middle, turns away. Prabhsimran Singh uses his feet to slog it over mid-wicket but gets a top edge. Matheesha Pathirana is a bit slow to move to his right from short third, gets both hands on it, but spills it out in the end. A single is taken.

12.2Short again and on middle, Shreyas Iyer pulls it towards long on for one.

12.1A googly, short and outside off, turns away, Shreyas Iyer cuts it away wide of point where the fielder makes a good diving stop.

Noor Ahmad (2-0-19-0) returns to the attack.

11.6Change of pace again, full and on middle, Shreyas Iyer goes through his swipe early and gets an inside edge towards deep square leg for one. Just 5 runs off the over.

11.5In the air....safe! Short of a length and on middle, angling in. Prabhsimran Singh gets hurried into his pull and mistimes it high in the air. However, it lands safely in the vacant square leg region. They cross.

11.4Hard length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer heaves it to deep mid-wicket for another run.

11.3Slower one again, full and on off, Prabhsimran Singh drills it to long on for a run.

11.2A very slow delivery, looping in on leg, Prabhsimran Singh waits for it for an eternity before knocking it to the right of the bowler. Curran slides to that side to stop it, but it looks like he has jarred his knee a bit.

11.1Back of a length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer swats it towards long on for a single.

10.6FOUR! FIFTY FOR PRABHSIMRAN! A fantastic knock from the Punjab opener, and he is keeping his team just ahead in this chase. Hard length and outside off, Prabhsimran Singh reaches out for it and carves it through point for a boundary. 14 runs off the over!

10.5Short of a length and outside off, Shreyas Iyer drags it towards mid-wicket for one.

10.4Fuller and on leg, Prabhsimran Singh clips it to deep square leg for a run.

10.3A good yorker, on middle, Prabhsimran Singh tucks it towards mid-wicket and sets off for the run, but is sent back. Dewald Brevis has a shy at the batter's end but misses, with Singh putting in a dive.

10.2SIX! What a shot! Fuller one and on middle, angling in. Prabhsimran Singh picks it up and, using his bottom hand, whips it nonchalantly over the deep square leg fence for a biggie.

10.1Back of a length and on middle, Shreyas Iyer pats it towards mid-wicket for a single.

10.1Matheesha Pathirana starts his spell with a wide yet again in this season. Fuller one but angling down the leg side, Shreyas Iyer misses his flick. Wided.

Matheesha Pathirana comes into the attack now.

9.6Fuller and on middle, Shreyas Iyer whips it to long on for a single.

9.5FOUR! Top shot! Makes it look absolutely effortless! Curran goes back to bowling short ones, outside off, and Iyer just uses the pace and ramps it over short third for a boundary.

9.4In the air, but just short. Curran goes full for once and almost forces an error. Prabhsimran Singh swings across and mistimes the shot well in front of Ravindra Jadeja at deep mid-wicket for one.

9.3Varies the pace smartly, and goes into the surface, short and outside off, Prabhsimran Singh is early on the cut shot and misses.

9.2Short again and outside off, Shreyas Iyer slices it to deep point, on the bounce for a single.

9.1Starts with a short ball, outside off, Shreyas Iyer looks to cut but gets an under-edge to the keeper to his right.

Strategic Break! This game is nicely poised at the moment, and it is really hard to predict which way it will go. Punjab Kings will be happy that Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh are keeping up with the asking rate and finding a boundary every over, but continuing in the same way will not be that easy. Chennai Super Kings are looking for a wicket or two, as they know that PBKS' middle order is a bit shaky and with the pressure of chasing a target, can falter. They will hope that their spin twins can wave some magic and get control of this game. Also, Sam Curran is to bowl after the break.

8.6Full, around middle and off, Shreyas Iyer drives it to cover for one. 13 runs come off this over.

8.5Flatter in trajectory, full and on leg, Prabhsimran Singh sweeps it to deep square leg for one.

8.4SIX! BANG! Prabhsimran Singh seems to have found back his rhythm! Floated full, on middle, Singh steps out and swats it straight back over the bowler's head for a six.

8.3FOUR! These are freebies for any batter! Tossed up, on leg, Prabhsimran Singh squeezes it across and beats short fine leg to his left for a boundary.

8.2Full, at the stumps, Shreyas Iyer eases it to deep mid-wicket for one.

8.1Quicker one, full and outside off, Shreyas Iyer lunges out to play it across and gets beaten on the outside edge.

7.6FOUR! Just about manages to put it away! Short and on off, Prabhsimran Singh looks for a reverse hit and gloves it past the keeper to his right for a boundary.

7.5Full and on middle and leg, Shreyas Iyer clips it to deep mid-wicket for one.

7.4Drops it short and on middle, Prabhsimran Singh steps out and thumps it to cover for one.

7.3Full, at the stumps, Shreyas Iyer knocks it to long off for one.

7.2FOUR! Great shot, but a pretty ordinary effort from Shivam Dube in the deep. Full and on the pads, Shreyas Iyer flicks it off the pads and hits it flat to the right of deep backward square leg. Shivam Dube is too slow to stretch out and try to cut it off. The ball bounces inches inside the rope, or it would have been a six.

7.1Sliding on with the arm, into the pads, Shreyas Iyer taps it to the bowler.

6.6Drags the length slightly short and outside off, Shreyas Iyer rocks back and punches it to deep cover for one. 6 runs off Noor Ahmad's first over.

6.5Tossed up, on middle, Shreyas Iyer uses the gap at mid-wicket and picks up two more runs with a deft touch.

6.2Slides it through, coming on with the arm, outside off, Iyer looks to cut but is beaten quite comprehensively on the outside edge.

6.1Tossed up, on leg, Prabhsimran Singh nudges it to deep mid-wicket for one.

Spin from both ends now as Noor Ahmad comes into the attack.

5.6FOUR! Easy pickings for someone of the class of Shreyas Iyer! Punjab Kings end the Powerplay at 51/1. Sliding onto the pads, fuller in length, Iyer glides it past short fine leg to his left.

5.5Full and on the pads, Prabhsimran Singh turns it behind square on the leg side for a single.

5.4Quick again, full and on off, Prabhsimran Singh stays on the back foor to punch and gets an outside edge to short third.

5.3A huge shout for LBW but is turned down. MS Dhoni, after a chat with the bowler, decides to send it upstairs. Fired in quicker and on a nagging length, on middle and off, Prabhsimran Singh yet again tries for a switch hit and misses to make a connection. The ball skids through and beats the bat on the inside edge to go on and hit him around the abdomen. Nothing on UltraEdge and the impact turns out as an Umpire's call. The on-field call of NOT OUT stays, and CSK retain the review.

5.2Short and outside off, Prabhsimran Singh looks to reverse sweep but misses.

5.1Comes into the attack and bowls it on a length, on middle and leg, Iyer tucks it to mid-wicket for one.

4.6Touch full and outside off, Prabhsimran Singh stands tall and drills it absolutely towards mid off. Shivam Dube moves to his left and saves a couple of runs at least. Just a single for the batters.

4.5Leg bye! On a good length and around middle, Shreyas Iyer misses his flick shot and gets pinged on the front pad. The ball rolls away towards square leg and the batters sneak in a leg bye.

Shreyas Iyer walks out to bat at number 3.

4.4OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Khaleel Ahmed gets a breakthrough for CSK, and the youngster Priyansh Arya is gone after a quick cameo inside the Powerplay! Ahmed hits the deck hard again and bowls a short ball, around the left shoulder of the batter. Priyansh Arya gets cramped up for room, and he also takes his eyes off the ball when he tries to pull it down towards the leg side. The ball takes the outside edge of the bat and goes to the right of the keeper. MS Dhoni, as usual, doesn't make mistakes there, and he catches it with ease. PBKS are 44/1.

4.3FOUR! Priyansh Arya is living dangerously here! Back of a length and outside off, Priyansh Arya throws his hands at it and gets a thick outside edge that goes to the left of the keeper for a boundary.

4.2Nagging length and well outside off, Arya swings at it but misses.

4.1FOUR! PUNISHED! Khaleel bangs the deck hard with a short ball and around the left shoulder of the batter. Priyansh Arya picks the length early and goes on the back foot before pulling it over mid-wicket fielder for a boundary.

3.6FOUR! THAT'S AUDACIOUS FROM PRABH! A yorker, around middle, Prabhsimran Singh shuffles across and scoops it to the right of fine leg, who is squarer on this occasion. He just gets a bat on it and the ball pings off it for a boundary.

3.5Leg bye! Follows the batter and bowls it on a hard length, down leg, Priyansh Arya gets cramped up for room as he looks to pull it away and misses. Gets hit on the thighpad and the ball rolls away towards square leg and they pick up a leg bye.

3.4Short of a length and around off, Prabhsimran Singh is already standing out of the crease and he takes a step forward as well. He drops it down to the left of mid off and gets a single.

3.3Straight to the fielder! Back of a length and outside off, Singh uses his feet again and cuts it hard but straight to extra cover.

3.2SIX! UP AND OVER! Kamboj bowls on that length again, into the pitch and around middle, Prabhsimran Singh again comes out of the crease and swings at it. He gets a good connection this time as the ball sails over the long on fence for a biggie.

3.1On a good length and around off, Prabhsimran Singh dances down the pitch and smacks it but straight to mid off.

2.6A bit wide, outside off and on a length, Singh extends his arms and looks to get it past the first slip. But he ends up playing it to the right of that fielder, who puts in a dive to his right and gets a hand on it. The ball rolls away towards gully and the batters get a single.

2.5Good running between the wickets! Short in length, over middle, Arya turns it to mid-wicket for one.

2.4Back of a length and around off, Singh runs it down to third man for one more.

2.3A MISFIELD AND A FOUR! Hard length but again same line, down leg, Prabhsimran Singh swipes at it towards deep backward square leg. Matheesha Pathirana runs to his right there in the deep and slides to kick the ball back in with his foot, but fails to do so cleanly. The ball goes crashing into the ropes.

2.2On a good length and around leg, Prabhsimran Singh shuffles across and looks to tickle it fine but misses. The ball goes over the leg stump.

2.1Touch full and around off, Prabhsimran Singh takes out his front leg ahead and drives it straight to mid off.
