Hate Cashback Fine Print? SBI Card Launches an Industry First CASHBACK SBI Card That Makes Cashback Hassle Free

In recent years, Indian e-commerce has grown by leaps and bounds, as a result of a confluence of several key factors: high smartphone penetration, affordable internet and data prices. This is before the pandemic made online shopping commonplace.

The newly launched Axis Bank contactless card doesn't discriminate - irrespective of which merchant the customer shops at, if they are shopping offline, they receive a cashback of 1%, and if online, they receive a cashback of 5%*. It also doesn't discriminate where the customer is based out of - be it a metropolis or small town, the cashback earned is the same. SBI Bank accelerated cashback cap is especially generous at Rs10,000 per month, while the cashback earned is unlimited. It is credited automatically, within two days of statement generation, making it the most fuss free cashback offered anywhere.

The card also offers a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between Rs 500 to Rs 3000, up to a maximum of Rs 100 per billing statement, as well as 4 complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge visits in a year (1 visit per quarter).

SBI Card is offering this card free for the first year, till March 2023 as a special launch offer and the application process is as simple as the cashbacks offered. The annual renewal fee is Rs 999 (applicable from the second year), but if customers exceed an annual spend of Rs 2,00,000, the renewal fee is reversed. Customers can apply for the CASHBACK SBI Card on SBI Card's digital application platform, and receive the e-card within minutes - which means they can start shopping immediately, without waiting for the physical card to reach them!
