What a day India has had at Rajkot. Dominated from start to end. The first bowlers rose to the task, in the absence of R Ashwin, to dismiss England for 319 runs in their first innings. Then the batters put them firmly in the driver's seat with Yashasvi Jaiswal slamming yet another hundred in the series to extend the hosts' lead to 322 runs after Day 3 and make England sweat under the Rajkot sun.

There was no stopping Yashasvi Jaiswal, who registered his second hundred of the series on Saturday and helped India take further control of the Test match at Rajkot. Jaiswal reached the mark with a boundary off Mark Wood's bowling.

Yashasvi Jaiswal maintained his excellent run with bat, getting to yet another half-century in the series. India is coasting along nicely in their second innings with the lead inching towards the 250-run mark.

After Rohit Sharma's dismissal, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill drove India forward, extending the lead to beyond the 200-run mark and increasing the pressure on Ben Stokes to pull England back into the match.

Stokes fails to read Kuldeep's turn, resulting in the ball bouncing over the stumps for a boundary, aided by four byes. England now 274/5, trailing by 171 runs.
