The market is likely to witness a flat opening in trades today tracking subdued trading of Nifty and other Asian markets. Asian markets opened on a firm footing ahead of Donald Trump’s address to the joint session of Congress, where the US President is expected to outline his legislative agenda.

US stocks closed lower Tuesday as investors eagerly awaited a speech from President Donald Trump while parsing through key economic data. Equities in

the US have spiked into record-high territory since Trump's election.Treasury yields and the dollar also surged, but have recently lost steam.

As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) bought shares worth net Rs 1146.23 crore on February 28, 2017. Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 268.34 crore on

that day.
