Revenue might take a hit of Rs 1700cr in Q4 due to royalty payment: ONGC

On the company's fourth quarter earnings he said that there might be a hit of around Rs 1,700 crore on the revenue due to royalty payment.

    On the probable merger of oil manufacturing companies (OMCs), particularly the much talked about ONGC and HPCL, AK Srinivasan, Director of Finance, ONGC said that he has not heard anything of such sort from the government.

    Speaking to CNBC-TV18 he said that there has been no meeting with respect to such an integration.

    Speaking on the GDF stake sale in Petronet LNG, Srinivasan said that the promoters will not buy any of it as the structure of the company is on a joint venture basis, which would deviate.

    On the company's fourth quarter earnings he said that there might be a hit of around Rs 1,700 crore on the revenue due to royalty payment.

    He expects Q4 average realisation to be over USD 50 per barrel.
