Investors could bid for a minimum of 98 shares as part of a lot, requiring an investment of Rs 14,994 at the upper price band, and in multiples thereafter. Around 50 percent of the net offer was allocated to qualified institutional buyers (QIB), while 15 percent and 35 percent of the offer was assigned to non-institutional bidders and retail individual bidders respectively. IIFL Capital Services and HDFC Bank are managing the GK Energy IPO.

What did analysts say about the IPO?

Angel One in its latest note advised investors to subscribe to the issue. The domestic brokerage noted that the Indian solar pump industry is expected to witness robust growth, driven by supportive government policies such as the PM-KUSUM scheme and various state-level solar initiatives.

"GK Energy Ltd is raising approximately ₹464.26 crore through its IPO, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 400 crore and an Offer for Sale of Rs 64.26 crore, with proceeds primarily allocated to long-term working capital requirements of Rs 322.46 crore and the balance for general corporate purposes, to support its operational expansion and growth plans," it said.

At the upper price band of Rs 153 per share, GK Energy is attractively valued, trading at a post-IPO P/E of 23.3x lower than its industry peers, Angel One said. “The company has demonstrated strong financial performance, with significant revenue and PAT growth in FY 2024. Its robust order book and presence in the growing renewable energy sector further support its growth prospects,” it added.

The company has commissioned its first line of the ABS project with an installed capacity of 70,000 TPA at its Amdoshi Plant, Maharashtra, with the technical support of Versalis, Italy. The plant commenced production on September 25.

Amber Enterprises India

A clutch of investors, including Singularity AMC, Axis New Opportunities AIF, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Nuvama Crossover, Avendus, Incred Wealth, and Frangipani Capital Advisors, invested Rs 550 crore in Amber Enterprises' subsidiary IL JIN Electronics against 8,45,092 compulsorily convertible preference shares. IL JIN Electronics (India) manufactures printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various industries.

Ventive Hospitality

Ventive Hospitality proposed to acquire a 76% stake in Soham Leisure Ventures, marking its entry into Goa's hospitality market. Soham owns the 104 operational keys Hilton Goa Resort and a land parcel in Goa.

Polycab India

Promoters — Ajay Jaisinghani, Girdhari Thakurdas Jaisinghani, Ramesh Thakurdas Jaisinghani, Inder Thakurdas Jaisinghani, and others — offloaded 23.3 lakh shares (1.5% stake) at Rs 7,458 per share, for Rs 1,739.7 crore.

However, JP Morgan Fund ICVC was the biggest buyer among investors in Polycab India, acquiring 14.84 lakh shares for Rs 1,107 crore, followed by Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore, which bought 3.64 lakh shares for Rs 272 crore.

Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company picked up 1 lakh shares in the FMEG company for Rs 75 crore. Other investors, including Tata Equity Plus Absolute Returns Fund, Societe Generale, ASK Absolute Return Fund, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, and Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund, also invested in Polycab India.

GRM Overseas

Promoters Atul Garg and Mamta Garg sold 16.25 lakh shares (2.6% stake) in GRM at Rs 357 per share for Rs 58.01 crore, to three investors — Nikhil Vora, RG Family Trust, and Singularity Equity Fund I.

Awfis Space Solutions

QRG Investments and Holdings offloaded 3.67 lakh shares, or half a percent stake, in Awfis Space Solutions, the flexible workspace solutions provider, at Rs 591.17 per share for Rs 21.72 crore.

As of June 2025, QRG Investments held a 5.07 percent stake in Awfis Space.

Amit Ranchhodlal Chokshi has bought an additional 7.5 lakh shares (0.8 percent stake) at Rs 56.03 per share, for Rs 4.2 crore.
