The circuit was opened at 14:43 hours IST and the stock gradually gained strength to final settle at Rs 121.66 on the NSE, up 0.55 percent.

Among four investors, Swyom India Alpha Fund has bought additional 4 lakh shares (1.04 percent stake) in Jinkushal at Rs 125 per share, amounting to Rs 5 crore. As per the latest shareholding pattern, Swyom India held 1.13 percent stake in the company.

Further, Wellknown Vinimay bought 2.2 lakh shares in Jinkushal at Rs 124.67 per share, Takht Financial 3.86 lakh shares at Rs 124.97 per share, and Agarwal Nikita 3.6 lakh shares at Rs 125 per share.

The action was also seen in Cube Highways Trust. 360 ONE Real Assets Advantage Fund and 360 ONE Prime bought 1.42 crore units in Cube (1.06 percent stake) at Rs 134 per unit, valued a Rs 190.28 crore.

Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/online-services/eternal/Z">Eternal</a>, the food delivery giant, saw block deals for second straight session. BofA Securities Europe SA acquired 1.08 crore shares (0.11 percent stake) in the company at Rs 329 per share for Rs 355.32 crore, from Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE - ODI. The stock closed at Rs 328.45, down 0.17 percent.

The rebound came after initial profit-booking in the early trade after a massive move post-RBI monetary policy on October 1. Analysts said the Reserve Bank of India’s recent policy initiatives to boost credit growth supported sentiment in the banking space.

"The central bank's initiatives to accelerate credit flow into the economy will be positive for banks. Stronger banks will benefit not only from higher credit growth but also from lower premium for deposit insurance," said Dr V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services. He added that large-cap banks remain attractive from a medium- to long-term perspective.

<a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/banks-private-sector/kotakmahindrabank/KMB">Kotak Mahindra Bank</a> and <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/banks-private-sector/axisbank/AB16">Axis Bank</a> were among the top gainers in the Nifty50, rising up to 2.5 percent in intraday trade, amid positive outlook from Morgan Stanley.

Morgan Stanley reiterated "overweight" rating on Axis Bank and hiked price target to Rs 1,450 from Rs 1,325, implying an upside of 25%.

"We expect trends in net interest margins, growth and credit costs to turn positive over the next 12 months," said analysts led by Sumeet Kariwala of Morgan Stanley.

Morgan Stanley projected near-term gains for Kotak Mahindra Bank from macro recovery.

The global brokerage reiterates its positive view on the private lender on strong setup and exposure to segments that benefit from macroeconomic recovery such as commercial banking, vehicle finance and unsecured loans

"After two years of headwinds, the bank is now on the front foot with rising disbursements and stable margins," said Morgan Stanley.

It maintained "overweight" rating on the stock at price target of Rs 2,600, implying a 30% upside.

Amruta Shinde, Technical &amp; Derivative Analyst at Choice Equity Broking Private Limited, noted, "The key support is seen at 55,200, with a breakdown below this level likely to drag the index toward 55,000 and 54,800. On the upside, resistance is placed at 55,400–55,500, and a breakout above this zone could extend the rally toward 55,800."

Brokerages also stayed positive on large-cap private banks following the RBI’s latest measures. The central bank has proposed removal of restrictions on overlap of group businesses, a move seen as providing operational flexibility and regulatory clarity to banking groups.

"This should support more efficient capital deployment, sharper customer segmentation and competitive product structuring, thereby enhancing the overall franchise value of these groups," brokerage Motilal Oswal said in a note.

Jefferies said the move could be beneficial for HDFC Bank (and HDB Financial Services) as well as Kotak Bank and Axis Bank, which have NBFC subsidiaries. Nuvama Institutional Equities added that Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank-HDB Financial, Canfin Homes, PNB Housing and Bajaj Finance could see some relief.

Capital market regulator Sebi has approved <a href="https://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/finance-others/nuvamawealthmanagement/NWML">Nuvama Wealth Management's</a> application seeking to act as a sponsor to set up a mutual fund, the company informed exchanges through a filing, sending the shares higher by more than 4 percent on October 3.

"We are pleased to inform that SEBI vide letter dated October 1, 2025, has granted approval to the Company to act as the sponsor and set up the proposed Nuvama Mutual Fund," the statement said. a final approval for registration of the mnutual fund will be granted subject to fulfilment of the stipulated requirements.

In January 2025, the company had informed exchanges about the application seeking approval to act as the sponsor for Nuvama Mutual Fund. This would enable it to launch mutual funds as well as Specialized Investment Fund (SIF).

Its bookings crossed 3.5 lakh in September, up 35 percent from last year, while retail sales rose 27.5 percent year-on-year to 1.7 lakh units. Tata Motors climbed to second place in the domestic passenger vehicle market, overtaking M&amp;M and Hyundai.

Hyundai sold around 70,000 units, growing 10 percent from last year, mainly driven by a sharp 44 percent jump in exports, though domestic volumes stayed flat. M&amp;M’s utility vehicle sales rose 10 percent to 56,000 units, though wholesales were partly impacted by logistics issues. Retail sales for M&amp;M, however, surged 60 percent year-on-year in the first nine days of the festive season.

In the two-wheeler space, September sales were mixed but overall posted 11 percent growth. Bajaj Auto’s sales rose 9 percent to 5.1 lakh units, while TVS Motor maintained momentum with a 12 percent rise to 5.41 lakh units. Hero MotoCorp’s sales were up 8 percent to 6.87 lakh units, broadly in line with expectations. Royal Enfield recorded its best-ever festive performance with sales of 1.24 lakh units, up 43 percent from last year.

Analysts at Motilal Oswal said retail sales in September were strong across categories due to GST cuts and pent-up demand, with a notable pick-up in entry-level vehicles. They expect discounts to ease after the festive season as demand strengthens. The brokerage named Maruti Suzuki as its top pick, citing new launches and export momentum, while highlighting M&amp;M as another key beneficiary given growth in tractors and utility vehicles.

Bajaj Auto’s sales rose 9 percent to 5.1 lakh units, while TVS Motor maintained momentum with a 12 percent rise to 5.41 lakh units. Hero MotoCorp’s sales were up 8 percent to 6.87 lakh units, broadly in line with expectations. Royal Enfield recorded its best-ever festive performance with sales of 1.24 lakh units, up 43 percent from last year.

Analysts at Motilal Oswal said retail sales in September were strong across categories due to GST cuts and pent-up demand, with a notable pick-up in entry-level vehicles. They expect discounts to ease after the festive season as demand strengthens. The brokerage named Maruti Suzuki as its top pick, citing new launches and export momentum, while highlighting M&amp;amp;M as another key beneficiary given growth in tractors and utility vehicles.
