Terms and Conditions of “Spin the Wheel” Game ("SPIN2WIN")

By participating in the “Spin the Wheel” game titled "SPIN2WIN" (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”), you (i.e., the “Participant”) irrevocably and unequivocally agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) between the Participant and Network18 Media & Investments Limited (“NW18”):

1. Organiser and Game Duration
This Game is organized by NW18 on Moneycontrol Wap page (collectively referred to as “Property”). The Game shall be conducted from 22nd May, 2025 at 09:30 AM till 25th May, 2025 at 11:30 PM (“Term”), which may be extended, curtailed, suspended or terminated at the sole discretion of NW18 without any prior notice.

2. Eligibility and Participation

• a. The Game is open only to Indian citizens who are residents of India at the time of participation.
• b. Each Participant must:
• (i) Access the Moneycontrol Wap page.
• (ii) Answer the "Question of the Day" correctly to unlock the Game.
• (iii) Be aged 18 years or above.
• c. A Participant is allowed a maximum of three (3) attempts per day to answer the "Question of the Day" correctly.
• d. Upon exhausting all three incorrect attempts in a day, the Participant may return to try again the next day during the Game Term.
• e. Each Participant is eligible to win a reward through this Game only once in their lifetime, irrespective of number of attempts or successful answers in the future.
• f. If a Participant has already won a reward in any prior round of the Game, any subsequent participation will not qualify for any additional reward, even if successful.

3. Manner of Participation

• STEP 1: Access the Game on the Moneycontrol Wap page or designated promotional link.
• STEP 2: Answer the “Question of the Day.” No dispute with respect to the question and/or answer shall be raised by the Participant and NW18 decision regarding the same shall be final and binding.
• STEP 3: Upon correctly answering the question, unlock and spin the wheel.
• STEP 4: Rewards will be randomly allocated.
• STEP 5: Complete all mandatory steps as outlined in the app or communication to claim the reward.

4. Rewards and Redemption

• a. TParticipants who answer correctly and spin the wheel will be eligible to win and receive one of the rewards displayed on the wheel.
• b. Reward Claim Process: To claim the reward, Participants must complete all of the following steps
• (i) Download the Moneycontrol app (if not already downloaded).
• (ii) Log in using the same mobile number used during Game participation.
• (iii) Follow the on-screen instructions and/or or any other communication provided to successfully complete the reward redemption process.
• (iV) Any failure to follow the process or mismatch in credentials may render the reward claim void at the sole discretion of NW18.

5. Verification and Disqualification

• a. NW18 reserves the right to verify the identity, eligibility and authenticity of the Participant at any time, including prior to disbursing any reward.
• b. Failure to provide valid proof (e.g. email address, mobile number etc) may result in disqualification.
• c. Any attempt to manipulate or misuse the Game, including multiple entries through different accounts or devices, shall result in permanent disqualification.

6. Data Collection, Storage and Processing

• a. By participating in this Game, Participants expressly consent to NW18 collecting, storing and processing the following personal data including but not limited to:
  Full Name
  Mobile Number
  Email ID
  
• b. Such data may be used by NW18 for:
  Verifying eligibility
  Reward delivery
  Communication relating to the Game and offers
  Analytics and product improvement
  Compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
  
• c. Participant data will be stored in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws. NW18 may share the data with its affiliates, group companies, agents or third-party service providers solely for the purposes outlined herein.
• d. By entering the Game, Participants provide their explicit consent to NW18’s Privacy Policy and agree that NW18 shall have no liability for any misuse or unauthorized access of such data by third parties beyond its reasonable control.

7. Winner Announcement

• a. Winners will be notified via email and/or in-app notification post successful reward allocation.
• b. Rewards shall be distributed digitally via the email ID or account used to play the Game.
• c. The decision of NW18 regarding selection of winners shall be final and binding.

8. Disqualification

• a. If a Participant uses fraudulent methods, multiple accounts or violates any of these Terms, NW18 reserves the right to disqualify such entry.
• b. NW18 also reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who is found to be tampering with the Game mechanics or abusing the platform.

9. Reward Restrictions and Liability

• a. Rewards once allocated are non-transferable, non-assignable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other reward.
• b. NW18 disclaims any responsibility for any defects, damages, expiry or dissatisfaction with the reward.
• c. The rewards will only be available until the predefined redemption limit is reached and NW18 reserves the right to withdraw the same without liability if such predefined redemption limit is exhausted.
• d. NW18 accepts no responsibility if the reward is not availed by the Participant within the applicable time.

10. Taxes and Costs

• a. All applicable taxes, levies and charges (if any) arising out of or in connection with the reward shall be borne solely by the Participant.
• b. Any additional costs or expenses involved in claiming or using the reward shall be borne by the Participant.

11. Limitation of Liability

• a. NW18 shall not be responsible for any technical failure, network error, incorrect entries, delayed responses or any other cause that impairs the functioning of the Game.
• b. NW18 shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising from participation in the Game or acceptance/use of the Reward.
• c. NW18 provides no warranty regarding the fitness, merchantability or quality of the rewards.

12. Technical Issues and Discretion
In the event of any outage, technical glitch, system failure or service error affecting participation in the Game, reward allocation or redemption, NW18 shall have the sole and final authority to determine the appropriate course of action, including but not limited to invalidating affected entries, re-running the Game, extending timelines or taking any other corrective measure as it deems fit. All such decisions shall be final, binding and not subject to challenge or dispute by the Participants.

13. Intellectual Property and Publicity Rights

• a. By participating in the Game, the Participant grants NW18 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish and display the Participant’s name, likeness, answer submissions and participation for promotional, marketing or publicity purposes across all mediums (print, digital, etc.) globally in perpetuity without any additional compensation.
• b. All content, design, layout, trademarks and intellectual property rights associated with the Game and its promotional material, including user submissions and responses, shall remain the exclusive property of NW18.

14. Indemnity

• Participants agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NW18, its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with participation in the Game or any violation of these Terms and Conditions.

15. Modification, Suspension and Termination

• a. NW18 reserves the unfettered right to modify, suspend, terminate or extend the Game or any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time, including post-declaration of rewards, without assigning any reason or prior notice.
• b. NW18 may also withdraw the Game in whole or part in the event of force majeure or if mandated by any regulatory authority.

16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• a. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai only.
• b. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

17. Final Authority and Acceptance

• a. All decisions taken by NW18 with respect to this Game, including but not limited to determination of rewards, eligibility, verification and disqualification shall be final and binding.
• b. No correspondence or dispute regarding the same shall be entertained.
• c. Participation in this Game shall be deemed acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions herein.

18. Force Majeure

• NW18 shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under the Terms and Conditions due to causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, natural disasters, internet or power outages or change in applicable laws or regulations.

19. Contact and Grievance Redressal

• For any clarifications or complaints regarding the Game, Participants may write to: https://www.moneycontrol.com/cdata/contact.php. NW18 shall make best efforts to resolve genuine grievances, however, any decision made in this regard shall be final.

20. Acceptance of Terms

• Participation in the Game shall be deemed as acceptance of all these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of the Terms, you must not participate in the Game.
